THE PRO ARTE CHORALE 2026-2027 Season
The Pro Arte Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Bryan Zaros, is proud to unveil its 2026–2027 season—an electrifying celebration of power, glory, and divine majesty featuring two monumental choral-orchestral programs that dazzle with brilliance and spirit.
The season opens with Light out of Darkness on Saturday, November 21, 2026, featuring Songs of Peace, Remembrance, and Hope. This moving program brings together Leonard Bernstein’s vibrant and rhythmic Chichester Psalms alongside Dan Forrest’s deeply captivating Requiem for the Living. Together, these works take listeners on a journey through reflection, comfort, and radiant renewal.
In the spring, Pro Arte returns with Sacred Visions on Saturday, May 1, 2027—a dramatic exploration of sacred beauty and musical triumph. Featuring Ralph Vaughan Williams’ magnificent plea for peace, Dona nobis pacem, and Pēteris Vasks’ hauntingly serene Da pacem, Domine, the concert bursts with uplifting grandeur and transcendent energy.
Under Dr. Zaros’s direction, Pro Arte continues to bring together singers, orchestra, and audiences in performances that are moving, memorable, and artistically rich.
The 2026–2027 Season is made possible in part by funds from the Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
